Welcome to the New Look web site of North Middlesex referees Society

The new site is still under construction, and not all pages have yet been transferred from the old site to the new, so if you are looking for something that you cannot find, please go to NMRS Old Website.

The next meeting of the Society will be held on Thursday 20 March at our usual venue - Holtwhites Sports and Social Club.  Unfortunately, our guest Ray Olivier from the PGMOL has been called to a senior referees meeting, so will be unable to attend; his visit has been rearranged for October 2014.  We are still attempting to find a replacement speaker; in the event that we are unsuccessful, we will arrange to provide a presentation on Promotion and what you need to know.

At our February Meeting MCFA Referees Development Manager Ray Herb talked about angles and positioning and used some videos to assist. A full report eill appear in the March Magazine.

The March Normidian is now available; click here to read.

We are currently running an on-line Survey for Members to let us know what they want from the Society. So far there have been less than 40 responses from the Members. We can only help you get the best from the Society if you tell us what you want, so please take just a few minutes to complete the survey. Click here to take survey.

The April Society Meeting was originally scheduled for Thursday 17 April, which is the Thursday before Good Friday. We have therefore rescheduled the Meeting, and the April Meeting will now take place the following week on Thursday 24 April. Following discussions at the December Social evening, and initial responses from the on-line survey, we will be holding an educational evening - outside on the grass, and not indoors. Phil Sharp, former FIFA Assistant Referee, and current Referees Development Manager for Hertfordshire CFA will be helping us run the evening.

Please also not that the Annual General Meeting will now take place on Thursday 22 May 2014, and not the originally scheduled date of 15 May 2014.

North Middlesex Referees Society is a member of The Referees Association
