Our guest at the February
meeting was Janie Frampton.
Janie is one of 3 national managers responsible for 21 RDOs; an active referee for 21 years; National List of
Contributory League and Women’s National Premier League;
a qualified UEFA coach; is involved in Active Sports
and Women’s Centre of Excellence coaching and
development; a Licensed Instructor; a Tutor Mentor for
Safeguarding Children and Equality; operates on a range
of National and International Instructors Courses.
Janie is one of only 7 female FIFA Instructors in the

The next meeting of the
Society will take place at our usual venue on Thursday
18 March, when our guest will be
Jon
Whittingham - who is the Middlesex County FA Football
Development Officer for people with Disabilities.

Make a note in your diary,
as our guest for our April meeting - Thursday 15 April -
will be 1974 World Cup Final Referee, Jack Taylor.
Jack will be
sharing his memories of the 1974 World
Cup Final between West Germany v Holland. This will be
a rare occasion to hear Jack Taylor speak about that
memorable day, in this World Cup year.
Society member Phil Sharp, who was an Assistant Referee
on the 2002 World Cup Final, will also be in attendance
with a replica World Cup Trophy, so remember to bring
your camera.
