Our guest at the February meeting was Janie Frampton.  Janie is one of 3 national managers responsible for 21 RDOs;  an active referee for 21 years; National List of Contributory League and Women’s National Premier League;  a qualified UEFA coach;  is involved in Active Sports and Women’s Centre of Excellence coaching and development;  a Licensed Instructor;  a Tutor Mentor for Safeguarding Children and Equality; operates on a range of National and International Instructors Courses.  Janie is one of only 7 female FIFA Instructors in the world.  A full report on the evenings events can be found in the March Normidian - available now - click here.

The next meeting of the Society will take place at our usual venue on Thursday 18 March, when our guest will be Jon Whittingham - who is the Middlesex County FA Football Development Officer for people with Disabilities.

Make a note in your diary, as our guest for our April meeting - Thursday 15 April - will be 1974 World Cup Final Referee, Jack Taylor.  Jack will be sharing his memories of the 1974 World Cup Final between West Germany v Holland.  This will be a rare occasion to hear Jack Taylor speak about that memorable day, in this World Cup year.
Society member Phil Sharp, who was an Assistant Referee on the 2002 World Cup Final, will also be in attendance with a replica World Cup Trophy, so remember to bring your camera.
